The teacher training map lists teacher training opportunities for
starting in 2019 throughout London.
Explore the map to find the opportunity suitable for you. You can
search for opportunities by primary or secondary, subject and
training route. The map shows training opportunities by the
provider: university/college or groups of schools as course
providers (black pins).
Click on a group of schools as course providers (black pins) to
see the network of schools that are affiliated to this school
(blue pins), these provide an indication of where you could
potentially train. Not all of these schools will offer training
opportunities. To find out more about specific training locations,
contact the lead school or provider directly.
You can also use the 'Context' tab to see which schools or
universities/colleges are within a reasonable travel distance of
where you will be living and what they offer. There is also
average housing rental data and a Transport for London journey
planner to see your best public transport routes and travel
options.
Note: The information for the lead schools is taken from
Department for Education data as of 25 October 2018 (Initial teacher training allocations 2018 to 2019). It identifies Initial teacher Training (ITT) places allocated
by the Department for Education across all London training routes
for the 2019-20 academic year. This information on ITT places was
provided by groups of schools as course providers and other
accredited ITT providers from data supplied to DfE and on their
websites. Current numbers of places available and updated details
can be obtained from their websites.
