Our programmes
London’s Violence Reduction Unit’s approach focuses on prevention and early intervention to stop violence before it occurs.
We know that to reduce violence affecting young people, we must intervene at key points in their life – that includes roles for parents, schools, communities, and peers.
Our investment is focused and targeted, ensuring our interventions are joined up and follow the journey of a child or young person and the key relationships they hold.
We invest in a range of programmes set across five priority areas:
- Dream, Believe, Succeed
- Sports
- Young People’s Action Group
- Rise Up
- Youth Practitioners' Advisory Board
- Inclusive and Nurturing Schools
- Mentoring in Pupil Referral Units
- Stronger Futures
- London's Inclusion Charter
- MyEnds
-
- London Crime Prevention Fund
- Critical Incident Funds
- Capacity Building support
- Housing
- Innovation Fund
