GLA response to MHCLG consultation on strengthening consumer redress in the housing market

The Mayor welcomed the opportunity to respond to the consultation on strengthening consumer redress in the housing market. In particular, the Mayor welcomed the focus in this consultation on helping leaseholders, private renters, social housing residents and the buyers of new homes to access better and more consistent support.

The response is made up of two parts:
