The Mayor sets the strategic direction for skills and employment in London and is responsible for the £320m per year Adult Education Budget (AEB), which funds the majority of 19+ education and training in the capital.
In January 2022, the Mayor published his Skills Roadmap for London. The Roadmap sets the direction of travel for skills and adult education in London over the Mayoral term and beyond, including future plans for London’s AEB.
